| The Sri Sathya Sai Baba Organisation of Trinidad and Tobago Inc. invites suitably qualified persons to apply for the following positions: Auxiliary Assistant-ECCE - Minimum three (3) subjects. English compulsory, Computer Literacy and foundation level exposure to ECCE theory and/or practice. Early Childhood Care and Education Teacher Assistant - Five (5) CXC or five (5) ‘O’ levels (English,Mathematics, and any other three subjects and professional certification as stipulated by the Ministry of Education. Early Childhood Care and Education Teacher - Same as ECCE Teacher and Bachelor’s Degree ECCE or Bachelor’s Degree in Education with ECCE specialization and at least five (5) years experience as a teacher. Early Childhood Care and Education Administrator-Teacher - Bachelor’s Degree ECCE or Bachelor’s Degree in Education with ECCE specialization and at least eight (8) years experience as an ECCE teacher. We also wish to encourage persons who are interested in careers in Early Childhood Care Education, and who, upon being certified would wish to work in ECCE Centres which may be set up by the Sai Organisation in partnership with the Ministry of Education, that relevant courses are available at the following institutions:
Certificate Training Course (ECCE) The entry requirement for enrolling in the ECCE Certficate course is five (5) CXC passes. This includes English and Mathematics. The training being offered by the above institutions has been harmonized. This means that all the institutions are offering the same content (ten modules). Two new modules will be added come September 2013 to promote the holistic development of children. The Certificate Course ( ECCE) attracts 30 credits. Please note that with these 30 credits, students can proceed straightaway to read for the Bachelor’s Degree in Education ( with ECCE specialization). Students moving on to do the B.ED (with ECCE specialization) at UTT will be given credit for the 30 credits attained from the Certificate ECCE Course. The training for the B.Ed Degree (ECCE) is being harmonized as well- that is, all institutions will offer the same training. Salaries New salaries will be offered: ECCE Teacher Assistant- (ECCE Certificate) – $ 5 000 ECCE Teacher-( B.Ed with ECCE specialization or B.Ed ( ECCE). At least 5 years experience as a teacher- $9 000 ECCE Teacher- Administrator- (B.Ed with ECCE specialization or B.Ed (ECCE). At least 8 yrs experience as a teacher- $12 000 Kindly note that there are institutions that accept new students on an ongoing basis ( that is, at the beginning of any semester). The present semester is coming to a close. Applications need to be done NOW and sent in order to gain entry into courses starting in JANUARY 2013. Institutions also offer some of the courses on a part-time basis. Part-time for the Certificate course is two years. Full time- one year. The Media Committee of the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Organisation of Trinidad and Tobago has launched a Monthly Bulletin and a Bi-Annual Newsletter to help spread Swami's messages and work. It is with the hope they will be used to inform devotees of activities within the Sai Organisation of Trinidad and Tobago and the West Indies.
